2010 League Play 2 comments
hey everyone, time to get league rolling. going to give everyone two weeks to get your team registered (by May 26), and then have the schedule made up, and the first night of league play on Wed June 2nd at Richmond Knob Hill. Contact me by phone or email to register your team, it will be $10 per person. You can have 3 - 6 players on your team ( only 3 on the court at a time obviously, but you can have subs if you can’t all make it every week. ) If you are short players on league night you can either play short handed, or have ¹sub, but it must be someone who isn’t on another team, otherwise your team will forfeit the game. Get your teams together, and let everyone know!! 3-2-1-polo!

Do people play pick-up in Calgary? If so, is there a regular day/time/place that folks do that? I used to live in Ottawa and played a couple times last year with Mallets of Mayhem rookie crew, but I didn’t really have a polo set-up and didn’t wanna wreck my work bike, so I just fooled around with friends mostly. Anyway, I wanna play polo regularly, but I don’t know if I can do team/league play. I’d just like to go out one or two nights a week for pick up. Are folks interested?
