Richmond/Knob Hill

Hey everyone!! It’s time to return to our favorite polo court up at Richmond Knob Hill. This Wednesday night at the usual time (5:30pm - dark). Bring some burgers or dogs and we’ll fire up the BBQ, and maybe a beer to go with it!!! (since the court up there is a little more relaxed in that department) I’m going to call it the first League Night, although haven’t really got a shedule set just yet, as I’m still waiting on teams to register. So it’ll probably be basically a pickup night this week, and hopefully we’ll get all the league teams registered as well, so we can get League play rolling. See you all up the hill on Wednesday!!

2010 League Play

hey everyone, time to get league rolling. going to give everyone two weeks to get your team registered (by May 26), and then have the schedule made up, and the first night of league play on Wed June 2nd at Richmond Knob Hill. Contact me by phone or email to register your team, it will be $10 per person. You can have 3 - 6 players on your team ( only 3 on the court at a time obviously, but you can have subs if you can’t all make it every week. ) If you are short players on league night you can either play short handed, or have ¹sub, but it must be someone who isn’t on another team, otherwise your team will forfeit the game. Get your teams together, and let everyone know!! 3-2-1-polo!

2010 Bike Polo

Hey everyone, gonna try to play some polo on Saturday afternoon, and then a little polo video premier at my house, come check it out. The perhaps more polo on Sunday. Hoping to finish off the playoffs from last season’s league finally. Trying to get the Rams vs East Coast Ball Bangers going in the afternoon say around 2pm. It will be best 2 of 3 games, and then Velopilzen VS Grasstards just after 5 pm when Mr Carter gets off work. Again best 3 of 5 games. After that We can see who will be going on to the finals and schedule a time from there. We can also talk about league for this coming season. I’ve kinda been thinking maybe Monday & Friday pickup polo at the West Hillhurst Courts, and maybe Wednesday League play at Knob Hill. (as soon as all the ice melts.)

Hey everyone, I finally got rid of the stupid trojan on the site. someone hacked it, sorry if it kept pissing off your anti-virus programs, should be gone now. It was just some stupid script that would redirect traffic and create pop-up ads.

We are going to start a beginners night, so if you haven’t played polo yet, but you want to give it a try then come on out. Beginners night will be the last thursday of every month (so July 30th this month) if you play already, send a friend. let’s get some new polo blood out there!! (figuratively speaking)

League play will be starting up again, I hope to get together teams this week (so be at polo on wednesday) and we should be able to get games going by the following week. So if you want to play in League be there!! If you can’t be there at least phone me and let me know you want to play, if you don’t do one of these things then I can’t guarantee I can get you on a team. see you there!!
